I bought this one a month ago, when i first open and install it, it is really simple and esay, but just after 5 minutes there was no signal and became much more hot, then the adapter auto turn off….why? i spent 3 hours to try to find the fact. finally i found u have to place this stick in a certain place, or there really would be no signal and auto turn off, i hope ppl donot buy this items, and donot trust the reviews ppl post, this product is not like the other ppl said.

  2. This may be an OK product, but not if you’ve lost the CD and docs. The company is NOWHERE to be found on the Internet. Searching by “Medialink”, “MediaBridge” and/or “MWN-USB54G” results in no hits to the company themselves. Plenty of hits to dealers, like Amazon, who want to sell you the product, but nothing on the company itself. So how do you get drivers, docs, etc if yours are missing?

Any company that doesn’t have a HIGHLY visible web presence should be avoided like the plague. I would tell this to them myself, except I can find no way to contact them.

  3. I USE THIS ROUTER WITH A WIRELESS INTERNET CARD AND IT WORKED WELL RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.

  4. I don’t know…maybe it is me but I couldn’t get this thing

to work. I ruined the packaging so I can’t send it back.

  5. This is one of the worst products from one of the worst companies I have ever encountered. When I ran the configuration utility, the choice for WPA authentication was not on the drop down menu, despite being described in the manual. When I called customer support, I was passed along to 3 different people and the last person said, “Well, I have it on my screen, and I can see the choices, so there must be something incorrect on your side.” So I said, “Well what else can I do.” He said, “I don’t know. I guess it just doesn’t work.”
