  1. I CANT HONESTLY RATE THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I NEVER I REPEAT NEVER RECEIVED IT! EEK TECHNOLOGY IS THE COMPANY I ORDERED IT FROM THROUGH AMAZON, WHEN MY PRODUCT NEVER SHOWED UP (WHICH MIND YOU WAS A BELATED CHRISTMAS PRESENT IN THE BEGINNING), I CONTACTED EEK TECHNOLOGY VIA EMAIL. THEY ADVISED ME I NEEDED TO CONTACT FEDEX REGARDING DELIVERY STATUS WELL. . . . I DID. . . . FEDEX TOLD ME THAT MY PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED WITHOUT SUFFICIENT MAILING ADDRESS INFORMATION, SO I CONTACTED EEK TECHNOLOGY AGAIN VIA EMAIL, TOLD THEM WHAT FEDEX TOLD ME, EEK TECHNOLOGY ADVISED ME A REFUND WOULD BE ISSUED MINUS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE? WTH? WHY WOULDNT EEK TECHNOLOGY WANT TO SATISFY THEIR CUSTOMERS? WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A RESTOCKING FEE WHEN THEY ARE THE ONES THAT SHIPPED MY ORDER WITH INSUFFICIENT MAILING ADDRESS INFORMATION, WHY WOULDNT THEY TRY TO RESHIP MY ORDER? SO. . . . . . I ORDERED THIS PRODUCT 12/25/2009 AND AS OF TODAY 1/27/2010 I AM STILL WANTING FOR EITHER MY PRODUCT OR MY FULL REFUND. NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM NOT PLEASED! SO NO RATING FROM ME. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

  2. It works the way it should, feels cheap, and does not come as pictured. The product is white not gray. Most vital to know is that it is only for computers. I bought for my phone because it states the fact that it has 3. 5mm plug. Well it should say plugs, and mention that it is solely for computers.

  3. L. A. Grogg says:

To say that the “sound quality is poor” is akin to saying that chips of victorian paint are tasty. There’s a sentiment of truth, but ultimately there is no right way of spinning the negative side effects into positive ones. Unless you have always wanted to be blind.

I bought two of these headsets in a hasty need for recreational gaming. Ultimately I have compiled a list of my experience:

    CONS:

    1. What headphones are pictured in this ad? Because mine are white and entirely different than the ones in that minuscule picture. I would have bought these regardless of their color, but I suppose that others may judge electronic equipment soley on the color of their manufacturer. Which is ultimately their choice no matter the bias, and the despise it spreads.

    2. There is no mute button. Not only does this add difficulty with background noise but now I can no longer whisper under my breath my secret despise that I harbor against my peers.

    3. BOTH sets have the same background noise. These weird flickering buzzing that sounds like an S. O. S from Roswell. My peers believe that I am now calling on skype from “Narnia” and that the buzzing must be from the blizzards. I have not yet corrected them, and I unsure if this is a con or a PRO.

    4. Developed for midget ears. Exactly who has ears that have lobes that are only a half inch long? Or are these headphones made to give the “Gun range Experience” ? Maybe if I played Combat Arms this would be a PRO. Or “Huge Game Hunter. ” In which case, I demand the packaging should show someone skyping to a buck.

    5. The man on the packaging is far too enthusiastic about his headset. Also, it’s a white man. I don’t know exactly if Coby is trying to infer something with their white packaging, white product and white man. But, regardless, it disgusts me that they hid this from the internet consumers purchasing this product.

    PRO’s.

    1. The sound quality is so subpar that my friends now sound as if they are traveling. From Jetplanes to cars, my friends are jetsetters without leaving the comfort of their armchair!

    2. I can no longer mute without moving back to the skype interface. This causes them to all know my dislike for them fullheartedly. Despite this being a petpeeve, I suppose the headset is trying to heal our friendships. Perhaps, we can grow from this.

    3. The Mic’s position is so far enough from my face that I can eat sandwiches. This causes fantastic relief for WoW gamers everywhere.

    4. The Buzz helps my friends make techno remixes for their online gaming experience.

    5. It’s white. Which makes me feel more comfortable about it being near my White computer, my White Peripherals and my White desk.

  4. The sound is fantastic. I don’t normally use headphones. . . but when I did I am glad I chose these. My only small complaint is they are not the most comfortable when laying on a pillow. I knew this before buying them but.

  5. Excellent product; just was negatively surprised because I got a white rather than black/silver phone. Excellent value for money tough.
