I thought for the price why not give it a try. It works as excellent as one you would buy at apple. It fit, protects my screen and was simple to install. Thank You!!!
This is an extremely affordable alternative to the ZAGG products.
Don’t reckon that just because its (just) under a buck that its underperforming. In fact, I would say performance nears that of the professional competitors at literally a fraction of the price.
Pros:
1) Cheap
2) Simple Application / Removal
3) Won’t hit your wallet when you “feel” like replacing it. (If you buy two)
Cons:
1) Cheap-er quality when compared to ZAGG products.
2) Cut for the iPad is just a milimeter off. (Gives you a bubble on the top/bottom edge) after application.
3) Might be able to be cut through by any object sharper than a Exacto knife. (Or knives in general – watch those corners when carrying the ipad in hand.)
I got this, place it onto my iPad and it feels fantastic. It doesn’t appear to impede the touch screen.
The instructions say the micro air bubbles will dissapear.
Well 4 days later and still a few of them closer to the edge of the pad.
But maybe it is me and the way i applied it.
Still reckon it a bit pricey for what it is. But excellent for the peace of mind.
I recieved my screen about a week after i ordered it. I had really ordered the 3 pack and this one. Still waiting on the 3 pack! The packaging has japanese all over it and it does suggest its for a computer. But when i opened it up it was made for the ipad. I laid it down on the screen and all sides were cut to right size and length. As for laying it on the screen, I started out with lots of bubbles. Using only my finger to press them out, i slowly lowered it futher. Once i got about half of the protector on, it laid down without any bubbles. Once fully on i had about a dozen or so bubbles, i mearly used my finger nail to smooth at all of the bubbles. I DO NOT have any bubbles on my screen and i applied it only once.
I’m all for providing as much protection to your investment as possible, but this screen protector was a waste of money, and that’s coming from a really positive, forgiving individual who usually thinks critics are way too harsh. You know those dust particles that you see floating in the air on a saturday morning when a beam of sunlight shoots through the crack in the curtain? This product is like a vaccuum for those things. It instantly gets on the underside of the product and the moment you lay it on the screen, you can see all the dust being pressed onto your glass, which is probably causing more harm than excellent. I tried washing it clean and reattaching, but alas, to no fix. The adhesive is just TOO sticky. Nice try derma pad, but this didnt’ workout for me.
